Clifton's Place

A random blog covering my interests and commentary. A truly nerdy and retrotech site, you will find this place filled with such weirdness as manual typewriters, motor scooters, dial telephones, analog Volt Ohmmeters, slide rules, letter writing, Alphasmarts, rubber stamps, vintage and ham radio gear, model railroading, medieval history stuff, disability and congestive heart failure issues, and just about anything else that comes to mind. Enjoy!

About Me

My photo
Clifton's Place
Alabama, United States
I am an older (1953 model) retired dude with an eccentric streak. I am an insulin-dependent diabetic, a double below-knee amputee, and in a constant battle with congestive heart failure, so I move slowly and with purpose, and do not go out at night to party. I get most things done, and ask for help with what I cannot. I have a bunch of hobbies, ride my motorscooters, and have a weakness for vintage stuff.
