A random blog covering my interests and commentary. A truly nerdy and retrotech site, you will find this place filled with such weirdness as manual typewriters, motor scooters, dial telephones, analog Volt Ohmmeters, slide rules, letter writing, Alphasmarts, rubber stamps, vintage and ham radio gear, model railroading, medieval history stuff, disability and congestive heart failure issues, and just about anything else that comes to mind. Enjoy!

Just a needed update, after some absence. Things at the estate are proceeding at their own pace, and I seem to be holding on. Sandy is in Illinois visiting the daughter, and I am knocking around here. I have been working on some needed projects here.
On the fun front, I found that the website for the biker TV show Sons of Anarchy has a viewer gallery, and one can send in a photo, which they will "anarchise", and place it in the gallery. I could not resist, and sent one of me, taken on a ride with the Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club.
So now I am famous and immortal and all that, having been placed in the Gallery. Sandy says that the disturbing thing about it is that it looks "too authentic"; she thinks I could be mistaken for a cast member. [chuckle]
More later, I need to get semi-busy around here.
